East

                                                     First Round

  1. Boston vs. 8. Chicago- I think this series will go into 7 games but eventually Boston’s talent and depth will be too much. I think Al Horford will have a career series since Chicago doesn’t have a star big man.
  2. Cleveland vs. 7. Indiana- It’s now time to see how Cleveland will do in the playoffs. After severely  struggling in the later 1/2 of the regular season they will now go up against PG 13 and the Indiana Pacers. I think Indiana will be able to take a game at home but Cleveland just has too much talent.
  3. Toronto vs. 6. Milwaukee–  I think that Milwaukee can beat Toronto in 7 games. I believe that my rookie of the year Malcolm Brogdon will be able to out play Kyle Lowry (who was just injured). And although Demar Derozan is amazing, Giannis Antetokounmpo will be great too.
  4. Washington vs 5. Atlanta- Believe it or not I have Washington sweeping Atlanta. I think that Bradley Beal will out play Tim Hardway jr. and that Atlanta will be a one man show with Paul Millsap (Dwight Howard will have the same performance as Marcing Gortat). So, Washington’s back court will be way too much  for Atlanta.

                                                          Quarter Finals

  1. Boston vs. 4. Washington- This series could be the best match up of the first two rounds in both conference but eventually the 4th quarter king, 5-9 Isaiah Thomas will be spectacular. Also Boston’s bench will shine too.
  2. Cleveland vs. 6. Milwaukee- I also believe that the Cavs will win this series in 5 games too. Cleveland has more experience and talent than Milwaukee in the playoffs and that will be enough.

                                                    Conference Finals

  1. Boston vs. 2.  Cleveland– Lebron James will make his 7th NBA finals in a row but it will not be in 5 games like the previous two series. I think this one will be in six games, because Boston has more talent than the previous two teams. But eventually, Lebron, Kyrie and Kevin Love will be too much for Boston.

West

  1. Golden State vs. 8. Portland- Maybe if Jusuf Nurkic plays Portland will be able to win a game but if not they will get swept. Golden State was 4-0 versus Portland in the regular season and they just have a lot more talent.
  2. San Antonio vs. 7. Memphis– This is my biggest upset of the playoffs. I think Memphis has what you have to have to beat San Antonio even without Tony Allen. Mike Conley, Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph will out play Kawhi Leonard, Lamarcus Aldridge and Danny Green.
  3. Houston vs. 6. Oklanhoma City- The series everyone wants too see, the top two mvp candidates going at it in a playoff series. Houston on the regular season series 3-1 and they will win the playoff series 4-1. They just have a lot more talent other than the beard. And OKC is more of a one man show.
  4. La clippers vs. 5. Utah- These two teams are even in talent but the clippers have experience. Chris Paul will have a great series and that will be the deciding factor, clips in 7.

                                                           Quarter Finals

  1. Golden State vs. 4. La clippers- This match up will be intriguing but Klay and KD can outplay the opponent at there position. Warriors in 5.                                                      3. Houston vs. 7. Memphis- This series will be interesting since Memphis has advantage in the front court but James Harden will be too much. It will be Houston in 6.

                                                        Conference Finals

  1. Golden State vs 3. Houston- This will be a fun matchup steph going up against The beard but eventually the Warriors depth in talent will be too much. I say warriors in 6.

                                        Finals

  1. Golden State vs. 2. Cleveland– This will be a fun match up Lebron’s grit and grind will be enough to get the cavs by. Steph will struggle like he did in last years final and Kyrie will take advantage.

  1. I’m most interested in your upsets — go Milwaukee! Go Memphis! I like it when people surprise . . . And also, I may not Fear the Beard, but I am going to Cheer the Beard on . . . hopefully to an NBA championship!
